Rokolectiv x SHAPE - Charlotte Bendiks, Orphan Swords, Syracuse, Utopus

Hi. We are back. We put together 3 nights of SHAPE platform in Bucharest. This is the “club” night, it takes place at Control and you should come. Here is why:

1. Orphan Swords is a Brussels-based duo that crafts some of the most menacing modern electronics in the game. They say they are inspired by demonology and the world of finance. Expect some technoid brutal beats, with an industrial touch.

2. They will be followed by the Parisian duo - Syracuse -. A beating 808, an acid SH-101, plenty of synths and some love chants are a few of the elements of an intense and sweaty show. Syracuse is obsessed with the kind of space-age psychedelia that wafted through the ’60s, as the breezy strum of Michelangelo Antonioni-repping single, “Lovventura”, made evident.

3. You probably met Charlotte Bendiks at Rokolectiv, last April. Best known for spreading out positive thinking at festivals in Europe and beyond, she’s one of the Cómeme family members, as well as Norway’s best ambassador when it comes to a music of “sensual physicality”. She loves it when we say that.

4. Following the fresh release of “P-Balans”, a new imprint in the Future Nuggets’ label constellation, the night also features Utopus, Ion Dumitrescu’s newer project dealing with techno heresies, not-minimal and fragmented melancholy.
